Born deaf and mute, with very little exposure to the outside world, she had never had the chance to learn a craft or hold a job. The artists guided her through images and slow, careful demonstrations so that every step of the craft could become a simple, understandable “sign.” Luyen learned faster than anyone expected—from getting familiar with scraps of silk, to understanding color harmony, to aligning tiny details with remarkable precision.

Over time, she grew into a steady, skillful artisan, able to take on tasks that require delicate accuracy. No longer the girl standing quietly in the corner, Luyen now joins the team with confidence, communicating through her eyes, her smile, and the beautiful pieces she creates.
